My 8 year old niece Kayla stayed a couple of nights with us last week since it was her spring break. It was great to have her around. She was so good and helped with Harris. She didn't intentionally have to help with Harris, but having her around diverted all of his attention from me to her. I started calling her my little "lightning rod" since all of his energy went towards her.

Harris insisted on chasing Kayla round and round the kitchen table. She reluctantly complied with this game.
He's all grins and she has that look of "What does he want now?"
I love this picture as she rolls her eyes at him. Kayla's an only child by the way. She's not use to dealing with siblings.
